The contract comes into force upon registration (verbally, by phone, SMS or online) and ends automatically once the practical driving test has been passed. Under the terms below, Fahrschule Schwarz provides its learner drivers with proper training that meets the requirements of Swiss road traffic law and the examination requirements of the Swiss road traffic offices.

Driving lessons

A driving lesson lasts approx. 45–50 minutes, a double lesson 90 minutes, and consists of: welcome, instructions, practical driving, closing discussion and arranging the next appointment. Lessons are taught in High German or English. Prices of the services offered are subject to change at any time.

Cancellation / rescheduling / lateness

Booked lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. The cancellation must be made personally by phone, by SMS or by messenger service. The time the message is received applies. Cancellations by e-mail are not accepted. If the learner is late, the lesson is shortened by the time missed.

The instructor waits at the agreed meeting point for a maximum of 15 minutes; after that the lesson is charged and the instructor may leave the meeting point.

If the instructor is late, the time is made up directly where possible, or added to the following appointment at the latest.

Meeting point

The meeting point is the railway station of the respective town. Other meeting points are possible by arrangement.

Changing the location at short notice at the learner's request may shorten the lesson.

Fitness to drive

The learner undertakes to arrive for the lesson in a fit state to drive.

If there is any doubt about the learner's fitness to drive (illness, medication, drugs, alcohol), the lesson and / or the entire training may be terminated without a refund.

Driving test

The test counts as a double lesson (120 minutes).

All outstanding payments must be settled before the test, otherwise the test will not be taken.

If the test is failed, at least 2 lessons of further training must be completed before registering for the test again.

Payments

Single lessons are payable at the appointment, or at the next lesson at the latest.

For invoices issued, the payment period stated applies (14 days from the invoice date).

Invoices and receipts are sent paperless. In paper form we charge an additional CHF 3.- for postage.

If payment is not received on time (14 days, see the date on the invoice), a processing fee of CHF 20.- is charged and added to the outstanding amount. The payment period for the reissued invoice is 10 days.

For payments made at a post office counter, the customer bears the post office's processing fees and adds them to the invoice amount.

In the event of a move or a change of the centre of life clearly different from the previous location, or in the event of an accident or illness that delays continuing the training by more than six months, the amount paid in advance will be refunded. Unused lessons from a package are also refunded once the test has been passed.

Fines

Fines and penalties caused solely by the learner's own misconduct are borne by the learner.

Photo and video material

Photo and video material taken during the training, with the learner's consent, may be used for my website or other advertising purposes of my own (website, Google, social networks, YouTube, online driving instructor and driving school portals, etc.).
